BOULDER??? Colorado's Pac-12 opener was more like an exhibition game. The Buffs were able to empty the bench with nine players scoring, including four in double figures, during a 40-point romp over Utah on Saturday.
Tonight's game against Washington (8-5, 2-0) at the Coors Events Center is "a different animal," as coach Tad Boyle said.
"Washington reminds me of a Big 12 team," Boyle said. "They have the athleticism of a team like Kansas State or Oklahoma State, but their explosiveness offensively is like Texas has been and Kansas has been."
