Most Popular Ebook Reader: Amazon Kindle [Hive Five Followup]

Most Popular Ebook Reader: Amazon Kindle When we asked which ebook service you preferred, you responded that the Kindle Store was your favorite. This week, we wanted to know which ereader you preferred to read those books on. You responded, and we took a look at the top five. Now we're back to highlight the winner.

Not surprisingly, debate in the comments was fierce but the Amazon Kindle came out on top with 52.25% of the vote. In second was the Barnes and Noble Nook and its variations, with 23.28% of the votes cast. In third was the Apple iPad, which despite not strictly being an eReader still brought in lots of votes in the nominations thread and 15.26% of the total vote. In fourth place was the Sony Digital Reader with 5.69% of the vote, and bringing up the rear is the Kobo, with 3.52% of the votes cast.
